VLTOR Weapon Systems began as a small operation based in Idaho in 2001. The company gained popularity in the market with the release of the original VLTOR Modstock. In 2004, VLTOR was bought out by a precision sheetmetal and CNC machining company called Abrams Airborne Manufacturing, Inc. (AAMI). Founded in 1965 in Tucson, Arizona, AAMI provided a highly capable manufacturing facility that led to the rapid expansion of the VLTOR product line.

Precision CNC machined from solid billet 7075-T6 aluminum, the SP223 Billet Lower is the first step to building the best AR15 possible. Mil-Spec is just a starting point for Seekins Precision. Specifically designed for serious tactical shooters, the SP223 has features not found on standard AR lower receivers that significantly improve handling and performance. The Seekins Precision Enhanced Bolt Catch comes standard on the SP223. Shooters can easily drop the bolt from either side with our ambi-bolt release feature. Custom screw in dowel pins are used to secure these components, eliminating the use of roll pins, hammers, and pin punches for installation.

Our goal is simple: technical perfection
Aero Precision’s roots are deeply tied to aerospace, and our drive for clean, perfect engineering and machining stems from that. When you’re building something that will fly in the air, there is no margin for error. We take that same approach in the firearms industry. Not every manufacturer will have razor thin tolerance levels. Not every manufacturer will personally oversee the development, design and machining of every part that comes off the line. We’re not every manufacturer.
